Learning to Disciple Others
Jesus told his disciples that the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. He said to pray for workers. Then he sent them out to do the work. After he was raised from the dead, he commissioned the eleven to make disciples in all the nations, teaching them to obey all that he commanded.
The Navigators seek to raise up a new generation of disciplemakers, who are characterized by five marks. These help us to understand our own growth and they serve as a guide to helping others. Paul said to his fellow worker, Timothy, "Take pains with these things; be absorbed in them, so that your progress will be evident to all.": (I Timothy 4:15)

Here are the five marks:
1. JESUS: A passion to know, love and become like Christ 2. THE WORD: Knowing and living from the Scriptures 3. COMMUNITY: Pursuing Biblical Community 4. ALL PEOPLE: Living among those who do not know or follow Christ 5. SPIRITUAL GENERATIONS: Advancing the gospel through spiritual generations |
To help you grow in these five we invite you to a 20-week virtual learning community.
This will require an hour of preparation each week plus a weekly Google Hang Out or Zoom meeting.
The twenty weeks are divided into 5 groups of 4 weeks each. Each week will include a one page Bible study, a .pdf to read, and some related Nav tools. Our hope is not only that you will find the content helpful, but that as you encourage one another in your group, you will prepare to help others grow spiritually.

To Host or Join a Group
We invite you to consider hosting a group, either with a few friends or with some people you will get to know.
Or if you would like to join a group, we will connect you with 4 or 5 other people (either in the Boston area or somewhere in the US).
In order to sign up we have created an assessment tool to help you reflect on your progress with the 5 marks. At the end, if you are interested, you can provide your contact information to host a group or to connect with one.
Thank you for considering this!
